Rodeco 222 - Finishing & Deburring Compound

Liquid, mild alkaline cleaning compound excellent for use with plastic media. Very good soil suspension qualities. Excellent for use with non-ferrous metals.

Description:Mildly alkaline blend of soil suspension agents, emulsifiers, wetting agents, chelating agents and lubricants. Moderate viscosity and orange in color. The pH is 8.9.

Application: RODECO 222 is designed for use in vibratory & tumble finishing processes. It is a universal material for deburring, burnishing, and cleaning of all metals and plastics.

Features:

• Excellent for suspending solid particle soils such as residue from fast cutting ceramic or plastic media and heavy heat treat scale.
• Removes shop oils and soils.
• Contains in-process inhibitors.
• Low in moderate foam.
• Biodegradable.
• Best compound when clean rinsing and no residue are important.

Recommended Dilution: In a flow through system, 1/2 to 1 ounce per gallon of water can be used during abrasive cut down. For luster and brightness, 2 to 3 ounces per gallon of water will produce the beat results. Flow rate of 1 to 1 1/2 gallon per hour per cubic foot of mass. Oily parts will require higher initial concentrations.

Disposal: RODECO 222 is biodegradable and contains no critical materials. To the best of our knowledge, it is safe to flush water solutions of RODECO 222 into sanitary sewer system.
