Description: |
Mildly
alkaline
blend of
emulsifiers,
wetting
agents,
soil
suspension
agents
and
corrosion
inhibitors.
Low
viscosity
and
light
green
color.
The pH
is 11.0. |
|
Application: |
RODECO
620 is
designed
for
deburring
and
light
cleaning
in
vibratory
and
tumble
finishing
processes.
Although
designed
primarily
for
ferrous
and zinc
applications,
it can
be used
with
most
metals. |
|
Features: |
-
Low
foam.
-
Good
corrosion
inhibition
on
ferrous
materials.
-
Suspends
soil
to
provide
clean
parts
and
media.
-
Biodegradable,
no
nitrates,
or
phosphates.
-
Non-irritating
to
skin
at
recommended
dilutions.

|
Inhibition: |
RODECO
620
contains
rust
inhibitor
which
protects
steel
during
the
process
and
whenever
the
steel is
covered
with
solutions
of
RODECO
620.
Best
rust
protection
is
afforded
only
after
part is
clean.
Soils
left on
the
surface
of the
part
will
diminish
the rust
inhibition.
Keep in
mind
that
rinsing
the
parts
after
processing
removes
the
compound
and its
inhibitor
action.
Rinsed
parts
should
be
dipped
in rust
inhibitor. |
|
Recommended
Dilution: |
RODECO
620 is
effective
at as
low as
1/2
ounce
per
gallon
of
water,
but
higher
concentrations
in the 3
to 4
ounce
per
gallon
range
may be
required
where
inhibition
is
important
or in
times of
high
humidity
or
corrosive
vapors
(i.e.,
vapor
degreaser,
plating
baths or
foundries.) |
|
Disposal: |
RODECO
620 is
biodegradable
and
contains
no
critical
materials.
To the
best of
our
knowledge,
it is
safe to
flush
water
solutions
of
RODECO
620 into
sanitary
sewer
system.
Please
consult
your
local or
state
EPA
Department
to
determine
the
correct
disposal
method
of used
finishing
fluids. |
