RODECO
320
DEGREASING COMPOUND
|
Description: |
RODECO 320 is a
highly alkaline
blend of
surfactants,
emulsifiers and
cleaners. It
has a low
viscosity and is
blue in color.
The pH is 12.5. |
|
Application: |
This compound is
designed to be
an excellent
degreaser and,
at lower
concentrations
it is very
effective for
deburring
ferrous
materials. |
|
Features: |
-
Superior
cleaner of
oils,
grease, and
drawing
compounds.
-
Contains
in-process
inhibitors.
-
Biodegradable.
-
Can work
effectively
in steel
medias and
will burnish
stainless
steel.
|
|
Recommended
Dilution: |
Cleaning
- Use 1 to 3
ounces per
gallon on flow
through
systems. High
foam indicates
oil has been
removed; lower
the
concentration
for the rest of
the finishing
cycle. For very
heavy oils and
grease, add
RODECO 320
directly to the
mass, allowing
it to churn for
ten minutes,
then flushing
with compound
and water
mixture.
Corrosion
Inhibition
- RODECO 320
contains rust
inhibitors which
protect steel
during the
process and
whenever the
steel is covered
with solutions
of RODECO 320.
Keep in mind
that rinsing the
parts after
processing
removes the
compound and its
inhibitor
action. Rinsed
parts should be
dipped in a rust
inhibitor. |
|
Disposal: |
RODECO 320 is
biodegradable
and contains no
critical
materials. To
the best of our
knowledge, it is
safe to flush
water solutions
of RODECO 320
into sanitary
sewer system.
As all spent
finishing
compounds
contain oil and
metal
contamination,
please consult
your local or
state EPA
Department to
determine the
correct disposal
method of used
finishing
fluids. |
